Profile

Christopher Agam Agara, born in Ikom, Cross River State, is a visionary entrepreneur, philanthropist, and family-oriented leader devoted to empowering people and building lasting legacies. With over 30 years of experience spanning oil and gas, environmental services, and agriculture, he has combined business excellence with a deep commitment to humanity.

For more than 15 years, Mr. Agara has championed initiatives that uplift communities—especially in the areas of education, widow support, and elderly care. His life's work reflects a belief that progress is best achieved through compassion, opportunity, and shared responsibility.

Philanthropic Impact

Education: Each year, Mr. Agara funds the tuition of 200 students at the University of Calabar (UNICAL), ensuring access to higher education for deserving indigenes of Cross River State.

Humanitarian Aid: During Easter and Christmas, he distributes 3,000–5,000 bags of rice to widows, the elderly, the disabled, and internally displaced persons across the state's three senatorial districts—North, Central, and South—bringing hope and dignity to vulnerable communities.

Community Engagement

Mr. Agara actively mentors and supports youth and community groups, serving as a patron to organizations such as:
